BREAKING: China supported and helped Trudeau get elected in 2021

The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) interfered in Canada’s 2021 election to help the Trudeau Liberals win and cause the Conservatives to lose.

BREAKING: China supported and helped Trudeau get elected in 2021

Robert Fife from the Globe and Mail reported that the CCP “employed a sophisticated strategy” to interfere in the outcome so that the Trudeau Liberals could form a minority government.

“The Liberal Party of Canada is becoming the only party that the PRC can support,” said a Chinese consulate, as quoted in Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS) documents.

Fife further reports that the CSIS documents were shared with Canada’s Five Eyes intelligence allies: US, Britain, Australia, and New Zealand.

Global News already broke the story that the CCP secretly funded at least 11 CCP-affiliated candidates in Canada’s 2019 federal election.

This Friday bombshell from the Globe indicates that the CCP was at it again in 2021, doing everything they could to ensure that the Trudeau Liberals won re-election.

“Most important, the intelligence reports show that Beijing was determined that the Conservatives did not win,” Fife said.

“China employed disinformation campaigns and proxies connected to Chinese-Canadian organizations in Vancouver and the GTA, which have large mainland Chinese immigrant communities, to voice opposition to the Conservatives and favour the Trudeau Liberals,” he added.

CSIS documents further revealed that the CCP conducted election interference operations by issuing undeclared cash donations to preferred candidates’ political campaigns. Furthermore, the CCP would have Chinese business owners in Canada hire international Chinese students to volunteer in election campaigns.

The CCP further sought to influence Chinese-Canadians. One official said this was easy to do.
