Key Responsibilities:
- Investigative Reporting: Dig into complex stories, uncover the facts, and deliver the truth to our readers.
- Source Development: Cultivate your own network of sources, maintaining relationships and uncovering new leads to stay ahead of the curve.
- Content Creation: Produce sharp, concise, and impactful content that drives the conversation forward.
- Self-Direction: Be proactive in identifying stories, following leads, and driving your own projects to completion with minimal supervision.
- FOIP/ATIP Processes: Utilize a basic understanding of Freedom of Information and Privacy (FOIP) and Access to Information and Privacy (ATIP) processes to obtain vital information and documents for your reporting.
- Collaboration: Work closely with our editorial team, sharing insights and ideas to strengthen our collective impact.
- Representation: Take on media appearances, interviews, and public engagements to expand our reach and influence.
