WATCH: Trudeau guards haul away apparent Liberal supporter

In a cruel twist of fate, an elderly woman holding a Liberal election sign, apparently supporting the party, has been dragged off by Trudeau’s police detail.

In the video, several protesters holding anti-mask and anti-vaccine mandate signs begin to yell “Shame!” as the woman, previously holding a Bryan May sign, is seized by police. Then, having no reasonable way of defending herself, the woman goes limp after attempting to remain seated on the ground.

Two police, then, proceed to drag her away like a sack of potatoes, having faced some resistance of a non-violent nature. Fortunately, it does not appear the police harmed the woman.

After the incident, several men curse at the police, who keep the protesters away from Trudeau’s ongoing campaign speech.

It is hard to ascertain the circumstances which led to this woman’s singling out by police. The woman is standing amid anti-lockdown protesters, but it does not appear that she was a part of their party. Specifically, the anti-lockdown protesters are unmasked and holding handmade signs with the usual anti-lockdown slogans, while the woman is clearly masked and has a Liberal election sign.

Before the confrontation, she can be seen in the crowd minding her own business, waiting for the speech to begin, while others appear restless and ready to voice their discontent over government tyranny.

In another video, almost rowdier than the first, one can hear the crowd of protesters trying to drown out the Prime Minister’s speech with a unified “F*ck Trudeau!” chant, coupled with the banging of dumpsters for added effect.

Again, it is unclear whether the woman participated in this chant or why police singled out the weakest in the crowd.
