The federal Conservative leader Pierre Poilievre is proving once and for all that Jagmeet Singh is Justin Trudeau’s puppet.

Poilievre humiliates Jagmeet Singh with non-confidence motion in his own words

A day after Singh’s NDP protected Justin Trudeau in a non-confidence motion yet again—even after “ripping up” his supply-and-confidence agreement—Poilievre is putting Singh’s hypocrisy on full display by proposing a non-confidence motion strictly consisting of things that Singh himself has said about Justin Trudeau’s incompetence.

Poilievre regularly refers to the “Liberal-NDP coalition” and appears poised to validate his accusation. Singh will either have to vote against what he’s said, or support it and likely force an election.

“I agree with Jagmeet Singh that the Trudeau government is ‘greedy’ and ‘anti-worker,'” Poilievre posted on social media.

“Now, Jagmeet Singh will have a chance to vote for a non-confidence motion made up entirely of his own words. Will Jagmeet vote YES or NO on his own words?”

Earlier this month, the NDP ended their ‘Supply and Confidence’ agreement with the Liberals, which had shielded the government from confidence votes. If enough NDP and Bloc Québécois MPs voted “No” along with the Conservatives, Justin Trudeau would have been forced to either resign or dissolve parliament and call an election.

Since then, Singh’s NDP has voted to keep Prime Minister Justin Trudeau in power multiple times.
