Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has vowed to remove fluoride from public water if Donald Trump wins the 2024 election.

This campaign promise comes on the back of RFK’s endorsement of Donald Trump, under the slogan of ‘Make America Healthy Again.’ If Trump wins the election, RFK Jr. is expected to assign health experts to government roles in health policy.

“On January 20, the Trump White House will advise all U.S. water systems to remove fluoride from public water,” RFK posted on X

He added, “Fluoride is an industrial waste associated with arthritis, bone fractures, bone cancer, IQ loss, neurodevelopmental disorders, and thyroid disease.”

Earlier this year a U.S. government report revealed a link between fluoride levels in drinking water and lower IQ scores in children, with studies referencing fluoride levels just 0.1 mg below the maximum that Health Canada currently recommends.

The link discovered by the National Toxicology Program revealed that children exposed to fluoride concentrations over 1.5 milligrams per litre, had two to five IQ points lower than average.

This finding has led US Federal Judge, Edward Chen to rule that the levels of fluorine in US waters present an unreasonable risk.

Subsequently, the US Environmental Protection Agency began the process of considering new fluoride regulations for drinking water, representing a historic development on an issue that was once dubbed a conspiracy by mainstream media.

Recently Donald Trump appeared on the Joe Rogan podcast, where he reassured the host that RFK would have a role in his future administration, emphasizing their main disagreement being Oil/environmental policy, something that Trump will “keep him away from.”
