Episode 1: Erin O’Toole’s Green New Deal, featuring Hon. Maxime Bernier

Keean Bexte

April 9, 2020

Erin O’Toole has released a “climate plan” that is despised by everyone. The document, which was not approved by caucus, boasts radical changes to Canadian’s way of life. He wants to create sin taxes for flying, home ownership, and he even wants to tax your Buick.

In O’Toole’s sheer genius, he plans to create 36,000,000 new bank accounts – one for every Canadian – where his government can block spending that they deem not “green” enough. His caucus, his voters, and even the CBC aren’t on board with this radical Green New Deal that he cooked up.

Maxime Bernier joins me to talk about this extreme plan, and to share his strategy for the upcoming election.
