It turns out that Ashlee Marie Preston, a male-to-female transgender person who recently led a crusade against comedian Dave Chapelle, has a long and colourful history of making bigoted comments against minorities based on their race, gender, and sexual orientation.

“Latino and Asian businesses need 2 stop bein rude & f*ckn disrespectful, & I kno its A LOT to ask in CA but speak f*ckn English 2* #yahisaidit,” Preston tweeted in 2010.
Preston is best known for the recent crusade against Chapelle over his controversial Netflix special “The Closer.”
As per Preston’s role in the controversy, Preston created #teamtrans and managed to convince several Netflix employees to walk out in “Stand-up” in Solidarity protest.
“This Wednesday, Netflix co-CEO Ted Sarandos will be presented with firm asks/demands from Netflix employees that we will also be sharing with members of the press & rally attendees,” tweeted last week. “Cross-cultural solidarity is an indomitable force that moves all of us forward. Come and join us.”
For whatever reason, most of Preston’s previous grievances seem to stem from supposed interactions with Asians in the food industry or Asians who are in the vicinity while Preston eats… or on the subway. Sometimes, but really just Asians and general.
“Mcdonalds on wilshire….eating my salad and protein wrap. Dis asian n*gg* keep lookin at me…” Preston wrote in a tweet.
“This Asian n*gga in subway, gotta fat ass… he almost looks like bitch from behind…. #smh,” Preston wrote in another.
“Just cussed that Asian bitch clean the f*ck out…u mess up my order & THEN blame me?? #englishismyfirstlanguage b*tch. Never ordern again.”
“Jus broke my phone on this Asian bitches head…I have Asian friends..but they some muthaf*ckn #weirdo sometimes #saiditbutwasallthinkit,” Preston tweeted.
“I don’t do Mexican Asian or samoan,” Preston wrote.
Moreover, despite now being transgender, Preston did not always have much sympathy for people who identify as such.
“This Chola has soooo much fukn makeup on she looks like a transvestite…. #lessisbest,” Preston tweeted in 2011.
Moreover, it seems this hatred expands to the entire LGBT+ movement, with Preston tweeting such great insight as “That is thee last time I help that faggot fucker… .he’s bringing ME problems Truman help him,” and “Got tha 9 on these muthaf*ckerz….f*ggot cock suckers …leave em shook like jelly, in a jam…SMUCKERZ — artists— ME* #lyricist.”
Preston recently acknowledged this history of hatred, tweeting, “It’ll take more than tweets from nearly a decade ago, that y’all already weaponized against me 2 years ago, to stop me from doing the work that’ll free us ALL, today. This is so old and I’ve already taken accountability for it. There’s no scandal here. See my IG for the full vid.”

Clearly, while Preston previously played the moral puritan and condemned Bernie Sanders for not being sufficiently left-wing, Preston has learned nothing of the damage cancel culture has and has gained no deeper insight from this revelation.
The show must go on!
