Feminist Trudeau halts sexual harassment inquiry at Defence Committee

Katie Telford lives to see another week in Justin Trudeau’s office.

Calls to fire the Prime Minister’s chief of staff spread across Canada after it was revealed the most powerful woman in the country was privy to sexual harassment allegations in the top ranks of the military. Telford chose to do nothing about it.

Now Team Trudeau has abruptly cancelled the meeting where Canadians were finally hoping to get some answers. Monday’s meeting for the Standing Committee on National Defence was cancelled mere minutes before a call to order. It was expected that at that meeting, the Conservative Party would have made a motion to call Telford to testify. One step closer to finding Trudeau at the middle of another massive scandal.

The question that needs answering now is whether Telford told Trudeau about the harassment allegations, or if she buried the heartbreaking stories of sexually harassed women under the rug in order to protect her boss. Both would be disastrous revelations for the government. Either Trudeau did nothing to help these women, or he was intentionally kept in the dark.

Par for the course for Trudeau. After all, he has been credibly accused of groping a woman himself. Why should women count on him to lift a finger when they are in distress? He is a feminist in name only.

The National Defence Committee has been laser focused over the last few months trying to uncover the process behind Trudeau’s office ignoring sexual harassment allegations from subordinates of General Jonathan Vance.

It is alleged that Gen. Vance sent an email to a younger female officer suggesting they take a “clothing optional” vacation together. Another woman, Maj. Kellie Brennan, claimed that Vance fathered two of her children and does not pay any parental support.

Other allegations have surfaced from women who have come forward to speak out against Trudeau’s military boss, but the Prime Minister and his office have continued to duck responsibility.

“They clearly don’t want Katie Telford to come in,” Defence Committee member Bob Benzen said to The Counter Signal in an interview.

“Either you don’t tell the prime minister and you keep him totally out of the loop to protect him, or you tell the Prime Minister and then he knows,” Benzen explained.

“These guys are failing Canadians for sure. They are not doing what they are supposed to be doing, which is finding ways to make our armed forces an institution that females can work at without having to worry about what conditions they are going to be working under.”

“They’re clearly failing females here,” Benzen concluded, adding that there are also cases of sexual harassment against men in the forces that need to be addressed.

If Trudeau knew that Vance had several sexual harassment allegations leveled against him – and he did nothing about it – he is in for a world of hurt. His feminist brand is hanging by a thread as it is after his vindictive treatment of Jody Wilson Raybould.

What might be worse for the Trudeau-Telford duo is the man they hired to replace Vance (Admiral Art MacDonald) also has standing sexual harassment claims against him.

For many, it’s infuriating to watch the hypocrisy of government elites in real time. While Gen. Vance wasn’t allegedly harassing subordinate females, he spent most of his career rearranging the Canadian military under Trudeau’s woke ideals. Through his tenure, the CAF officially identified pro-life Canadians as “right wing extremists,” and increasingly became a left-wing political organization. Vance was also the first from his office to march in a pride parade, and that just so happened to be alongside his friend and ally, Trudeau.

All of this, of course, is a façade. Gen. Vance and Trudeau don’t care about the “LGBT community” any more than they care about women. It’s typical for Trudeau’s brand; be woke on the outside, and a cold hearted misogynistic scumbag on the inside. As long as you can pull that off, Trudeau and his administration will do whatever it takes to protect you.

It was not made clear what technical excuse was cooked up in order to cancel the Defence Committee meeting on Monday. Parliamentarians now expect to be back as late as Friday, and you can bet they will still be eager to bring Telford in for questioning. Whether Trudeau allows the truth to come out is a different story.
