Armed officer hold TCS reporter in elevator to stop questions to Liberal minister

The Counter Signal’s Alexa Posa was obstructed by an officer from questioning Marc Miller, the Minister of Immigration.

The incident occurred at the Fairmont hotel, where Posa tried to ask Miller about the Liberals’ achievements since their last retreat in August 2023 while the two were in an elevator.

Miller went silent after he asked Posa who she was reporting for.

Posa was subsequently blocked by an officer from leaving the elevator, despite the fact she was also a guest at the Fairmont Hotel in Montreal where the Liberal cabinet is having their second retreat in five months.

The federal cabinet ministers are preparing for their January 29 return to parliament, marking the end of their 6-week holiday break.

The retreat comes just two weeks after Prime Minister Justin Trudeau got caught lying about paying for his Jamaican vacation over Christmas and New Year’s, only to later admit that he was gifted the $84,000 luxury trip.

Following the Jamaican revelation, Abacus Data’s CEO David Coletto said “His net favourability score of -34 is the worst we’ve ever measured.”
