Ben & Jerry’s slams pro-children school board candidates as ‘far-right’

The once sweet treat Ben & Jerry’s has taken a sour flavour after calling pro-children school board trustees as “far-right.”

“You may not be paying attention to who is running for school boards trustees…but you should! The far-right is running candidate who are making our schools more dangerous for queer, trans, and racialized youth” Ben & Jerry’s tweeted.

The once cherished dessert is becoming notorious for wading into politics. Last year, it refused to sell any of its ice cream in the West Bank of Israel. Its ice cream eventually returned to stores in the region.

“The anti-Semites won’t defeat us . . . even when it comes to ice cream,” the country’s foreign minister said, according to the New York Post.

Ben & Jerry’s also supported Black Lives Matter and “dismantling white supremacy.” It issued a 4-point action plan for America to adopt to defeat systemic racism between spoonfuls of Chewy Gooey Cookie.

As for its concern over Canadian school board trustee candidates it deems “far-right,” many individuals are running for the positions to restore common sense and push back against woke ideology destroying public schools.

Many pro-children candidates stand for protecting kids from gender ideology, a far-left theory that claims gender identity is different than biological sex.

According to HelpfulProfessor.com, there are 81 gender identities, not two. The number of “new” genders increases so often that 81 is likely to be considered transphobic by publication.

One gender called “Novigender” refers to someone who can’t describe their gender because it’s hard to locate. Meanwhile, “Pangender” is someone who identifies as having multiple genders, so any of the other 80 genders.

While school board trustees don’t have a say in curriculum, they influence budget matters.

Other issues and candidates Ben & Jerry say are “far-right” can be found in the Blueprint for Canada.
