The Counter Signal was the first to report rumours that the suspension was in the works.

According to reports an unspecified number of its candidates are set to join the BC Conservative Party.

BC United has confirmed that leader Kevin Falcon will not be running in the upcoming election and will step down.

This development is poised to reshape the electoral landscape, potentially giving the BC Conservatives the edge to defeat the ruling NDP.

Recent polling shows that the BC Conservatives are currently polling at 35%, surpassing BC United, which stands at just 13%.

The BC Conservatives are expected to issue a statement later today.
