Just days after featuring transgender influencer Samantha Hudson in one of their promotional videos, Doritos Spain has cut ties after disturbing tweets from 2015 went viral.

BREAKING: Doritos drops transgender ambassador

In an email, a Doritos spokesperson said “We recently created a content series with Samantha Hudson, a local influencer. After the campaign started, we were made aware of Samantha’s deleted Tweets from around 2015.”

“We have ended the relationship and stopped all related campaign activity due to the comments,” they added.

The Doritos Spain spokesperson further stated they “strongly condemn words or actions that promote violence or sexism of any kind.”

Hudson’s tweets

After a sexually descriptive tweet from Hudson regarding a 12 year old resurfaced, individuals were outraged, accusing the trans influencer of openly admitting to having pedophilic desires.

Hudson made the comment as a 15-year-old and has claimed the comment was a joke.

In addition, Hudson was accused of attacking women who were sexually assaulted for seeking resources such as medical care or therapy.

“I hate women who are victims of rape and who turn to self-help centers to overcome their trauma. What heavy whores,” Hudson posted on Twitter in 2015.

A video of Hudson was also dug up, where the influencer advocates for “the destruction and for the annihilation of the traditional family.”

Doritos avoids potential boycott

Social media users began comparing Doritos’ woke advertising strategy to the previously popular beer brand Bud Light.

After promoting transgender woman Dylan Mulvaney, Bud Light company experienced a 26% drop in store sales, and became silent on social media for multiple days.
