BREAKING: Stabbing at Calgary LRT station

A stabbing at Calgary’s Marlborough C-Train station Wednesday morning has left one man in the hospital with life-threatening injuries — and a suspect in custody.

BREAKING: Stabbing at Calgary LRT station

Police have secured the area, and said the Marlborough Station will be closed until further notice.

Global News reports that Calgary police were called to the scene around 4am. Police have asked the public to contact them if anyone knows of more information.

The same Marlborough station had a different stabbing incident in November involving a hatchet attack.

Calgary has become a crime-riddled city run by Mayor Jyoti “Defund the Police” Gondek. Random shootings and stabbings are occuring on the streets and public transit on a near daily basis – and sometimes there is more than one incident per day.

Last month, for instance, a man was shot on a city bus in broad daylight while other passengers watched in horror, hoping they weren’t next. One person was taken to hospital and two were put in custody.

Hours later, Calgary had its second shooting of the day. Police closed the block of 6th Avenue and 10 Street SW after a dead body was found next to a running vehicle.
