BREAKING: Trump found guilty on all charges

The jury has found former US President Donald Trump guilty in the hush payments case on all 34 felony counts of falsifying business records.

BREAKING: Trump found guilty

These charges, which carried the potential for up to four years of imprisonment, stemmed from allegations related to payments made during his 2016 presidential campaign.

“This was a rigged disgraceful trial,” Trump told reporters.

“Our whole country is being rigged right now. This was done by the Biden administration in order to wound, to hurt an opponent, a political opponent.”

The 12-member jury found the former President guilty on all 34 counts of falsifying company records in relation to a 2016 payment of hush money to adult film actress Stormy Daniels.

Trump has consistently maintained his innocence and pleaded not guilty, despite relentless scrutiny as this case marked the first of his criminal charges to reach trial.

The proceedings stretched over seven weeks. Jurors commenced their deliberations on Thursday.

Sentencing has not yet been laid down, which could include prison time.

However, Trump’s legal team has stated they will be appealing the verdict.
