A TikToker has gone viral for a post she made claiming that it’s become somewhat common to catch newcomers to Canada dropping deuces at Wasaga Beach — and not in the public washrooms, but on the sand.

“Immigrants pooping on beaches seems to be very common,” said Natty Lynn in a video. “This is an actual issue,” adding that she’s not a racist. “But what I am is a good person because you guys need to know what you’re running into when you come to Wasaga Beach.”

Wasaga Beach sits on the southern shore of Georgian Bay in Ontario, about 150 km north of Toronto. The beach attracts over two million visitors every summer.

“I am going to be making a series, I will be going down to the main end to show everyone the thousands of tents that are still up,” Lynn said in another video.

“No tourist respects the no tent rule, also they still dig holes under tents to use the washroom and I will be documenting it,” she said.

“I’m tired of people saying the people who are pooping on the beach, that’s what they do back home. We are not ‘back home’, we are in Canada. As a local, I refuse to let my kids dig in the sand on the beach,” she said.

Her comments have since garnered a significant amount of feedback on multiple social media platforms, some of which Lynn said she finds appallingly racist. “We are all human,” she posted.

One user responded Thursday, “When flyers are circulating in certain neighbourhoods telling people to keep their dogs inside, trying to change the scope of the world they chose to come to, perhaps enough is enough.”

Lynn interviewed with Global News earlier this week, where she doubled down after being challenged on her claim.

“I have seen it personally. I’ve had to speak with a couple individuals about the matter,” Lynn said, adding, “They weren’t even covering it up.”

The Counter Signal did not hear back from the Town of Wasaga Beach when asked for comment.
