The BBC aired an interview with a cardiologist attributing increased heart-related incidents to Covid-19 vaccines.
Dr. Aseem Malhotra, who recently called for a worldwide suspension of the Covid-19 vaccines, made the comments on Britain’s public broadcaster.
“Breaking BBC News,” he said.
“Cardiologist says likely contributory factor to excess cardiovascular deaths is covid mRNA vaccine and roll out should be suspended pending an inquiry.”
“We did it. We broke mainstream broadcast media,” he added.
The BBC hosted the cardiologist to talk about statins, a drug that lowers cholesterol. During the interview, the BBC said the National Health Service is considering prescribing daily statin pills to those with high cholesterol to curb heart attacks and strokes.
Malhotra said the statin pills are unlikely to reduce heart-related incidents and lifestyle choices are more important.
He then pivoted his commentary to the issue of excess deaths. He said the British Heart Foundation reported that, since the start of the pandemic, 30,000 excess deaths have occurred that are specifically linked to cardiovascular disease.
Malhotra told the BBC host that Covid mRNA vaccines carry a cardiovascular risk.
“And I’ve actually called for the suspension of this pending an inquiry because there’s a lot of uncertainty right now about what’s causing the excess deaths,” he added.
After Malhotra alleged his father was a victim of the mRNA vaccines, the host interrupted him and asked for scientific proof of his claims.
Malholtra said a re-analysis of absolute risk from the randomized controlled trials support his claim. He said the re-analysis found that absolute risk was higher for vaccinated individuals than those hospitalized with Covid.
The host then moved the subject back to statins.
