The Liberal establishment’s golden boy, Mark Carney, is scrambling to control the narrative after The Counter Signal republished photos of him repeatedly hobnobbing with none other than convicted child sex trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell.
World Economic Forum acolyte Carney turned to the Toronto Sun to deflect, blaming Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre for the resurfaced images.
“This is another example of how Pierre Poilievre and [adviser] Jenni Byrne have always played politics, and it shows again how terrified they are to fight Mark Carney,” one of Carney’s allies told the outlet.
Make it make sense.
“As a child, the woman you reference went to the same high school as Mr. Carney’s wife’s sister. While they have bumped into each other in public settings (including the 11-year-old photos you’ve sent), they are not friends,” claimed Carney’s campaign.
On Monday, I widely publicized the photos showing Carney and his wife, Diana Fox Carney, grinning as they chatted with Jeffrey Epstein’s child pimp, Maxwell, at an event back in 2013.
This wasn’t just any gathering; it took place at Carney’s sister-in-law’s estate, Cornbury Park—a known hotspot for globalist elites.
Now, Carney’s campaign is crying foul, claiming the photos are mere political mudslinging by the Conservatives, supposedly out of fear of him—even though most Canadians barely know who Carney is.
Here are the facts: Maxwell, now serving 20 years for her role in procuring teenage girls for Epstein’s elite child sex trafficking ring, was there, mingling with a smiling Carney. Yet, he refuses to take accountability or explain his proximity to her, instead pointing fingers at Poilievre, his wife’s sister, and anyone but himself.
A source close to Carney’s campaign admitted they knew Maxwell through family connections, but they insist the relationship was fleeting and insignificant.
They also claim Carney had no knowledge of Epstein’s crimes until years later, despite Epstein’s first conviction for sexually abusing underage girls in 2008.
Mark Carney, with his deep ties to the global financial elite, now finds himself ensnared in a web of his own making, desperately trying to shift focus from his association with one of history’s most infamous criminals.
