Dr. Jordan Peterson is considering suing the Prime Minister of Canada over allegations that he’s a Russian-funded agent.
Trudeau made the disparaging allegation while testifying at the public inquiry into foreign interference, prompting the Canadian psychologist and international public speaker to admit that he’s considering a lawsuit even tough they’re often a “losing game.”
Subsequently, on Friday night, Peterson gave the Prime Minister what appears to be an ultimatum: publicly apologize, or expect a lawsuit.
“Your move, sir,” Peterson said.
During his testimony, Trudeau alluded to the recent U.S. government’s announcement involving charges of money laundering against employees of the Russian state media outlet, RT.
The charges relate to allegations that these right-leaning individuals attempted to sway the U.S. presidential election. However, in lumping Dr. Peterson into the mess, the Prime Minister didn’t provide any evidence.
“You should have done your bloody homework and if you’re going to make accusations, you should have at least got them right,” Peterson told The National Post. “I don’t think it’s reasonable for the prime minister of the country to basically label me a traitor and I don’t find it amusing.”

Of course, the Liberals are no stranger to making baseless accusations against Canadian citizens. Last month, the Liberal’s Deputy House Leader and Kingston MP, Mark Gerretsen, issued an apology to The Counter Signal’s Katrina Panova, known online as Kat Kanada, after he falsely stated she was funded by Russia.
As part of a settlement agreement between Kat and himself, Gerretsen posted a 3-part apology, which included a $1,000 donation to a charity of Kat’s choosing.
