Elon Musk, the billionaire entrepreneur and CEO of SpaceX and Tesla, publicly endorsed Conservative leader Pierre Poilievre on Wednesday.

Elon Musk endorses Pierre Poilievre

Musk voiced his support on his platform, X, stating, “He seems great.”

His endorsement comes about one week after he called Prime Minister Justin Trudeau an “insufferable tool,” suggesting that Trudeau’s time in power would be short-lived.

In another post from November 2024, Musk predicted Trudeau’s defeat in upcoming elections, responding to a user’s request for help in ousting Trudeau by saying, “He will be gone in the upcoming election.”

Musk has made a number of comments towards Trudeau over the years, from voicing his support of Canadian truckers during the Freedom Convoy, to mocking Trudeau’s obsession with wearing costumes, to calling the Prime Minister a clown.

In May, Musk expressed sheer disbelief over the federal Liberals’ hate speech bill that could retroactively punish citizens for speech they made years ago.
