Incumbent PM Justin Trudeau has received a less than warm reception across the country since beginning his re-election campaign.
Despite overwhelming confidence when he asked the Governor-General to dissolve the government and trigger a snap election, his majority government fever dream may be less easy to achieve than he realizes.
Having been locked down for well over a year and a half, Canadians are using this moment in the sun to make their voices heard. And their voices come out as a resounding “BOO!”

The video above shows the PM hurriedly leaving the scenes of his own rallies as he is shouted out — all the while smiling, waving, and pretending everything will be okay.
But it is not okay. Dissatisfied with a broken economy, vaccine mandates, continued threats from the government about which Canadians will get to enjoy a ‘free’ society, and a former drama teacher for a leader, Canadians have too many problems to remain silent. They have reached the tipping point.
The scenes shown range from Toronto, Vancouver, Winnipeg, and Quebec. A clean sweep of hatred across the country with only Atlantic Canada and the Territories left out — but they will likely join in, too, when they get their chance.
Often viewed as a mockery on the world stage, it is a wonder whether Trudeau ever thought he would be seen the same way by the nation that elected him. Apparently, he is. But for Canadians, it is not just a joke. It is a nightmare.
