Kenney Government to implement some of the strictest measures in the free world.

According to staff within Jason Kenney’s government, and told to The Counter Signal under the condition of anonymity, the Alberta government is moving to implement some of the strictest lockdown measures in the country.

It is expected that Dr. Hinshaw will be recommending to Kenney a ban on outdoor patio dining. This may come as a third shock to many restaurants in the province who are already struggling – if not already closed down – in the aftermath of the first two shutdowns.

Churches are anticipated to be shut down too, however the legality of that is still being measured carefully. The Charter of Rights and Freedoms specifically protects the right to practice religion, and there are thousands of Albertans who have demonstrated they will not comply with any law restricting their religious liberties.

Pastor James Coates is one of those defiant Albertans, who as Kenney is deliberating these measures with cabinet, is facing charges in court regarding his decision to keep Grace Life Church near Edmonton open throughout government lockdowns.

“We determined that complying with AHS meant non-compliance with God so we decided, ‘OK, well, who would you rather be [in] noncompliance with? God or AHS?’ I think the choice is pretty simple,” Coates testified.

Kenney knows that there is an army of churchgoers in the province prepared to die on this hill, and he is evaluating his options. Most of these worshipers would have been voters of Kenney’s in the upcoming election that is just under two years away, which adds a political lens to his decision making.

Sources also expect casual outdoor gatherings to be made illegal as well.

Kenney and a small team of advisors – along with Dr. Hinshaw – are still weighing the implications of each specific measure at the time of publishing. The final lockdown package is expected to be released late Tuesday afternoon.
