This comes as continued use of luxury hotels to house illegals in Greece is suspected to be funded by NGOs, since the government ended its program of housing migrants in hotels in 2023.
The posted letter gained traction on X with prominent international commentators like Hassan Sajwani and Mario Nawfal chiming in.

Musk, who’s leading the U.S. department of efficiency (DOGE), has been active in discussions regarding mass migration issues in Europe. Mass migration has been an issue in Greece due to its geographical proximity to the Middle East, bordering the Islamist regime of Erdogan’s Turkey.
Since the mid 1990s, the majority of the migrants coming into Greece come from Muslim majority societies such as Pakistan, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Iraq, and most recently Syria since its conflict arose in 2011.
In 2015 alone, over 850,000 migrants arrived in Greece by Sea, mostly from Syria.
In just the first 7 days of this new year, over 440 migrants arrived into Europe through Greece.
DOGE cutting waste
DOGE has been scrutinizing numerous globalist projects funded by American taxpayers, targeting inefficiencies and what it perceives as wasteful spending. This includes cutting over $100 million from DEI programs within the U.S. Department of Education, terminating nearly $1 billion in educational research contracts, and reviewing the operations of USAID for potential misuse of funds.
Additionally, changes to NIH grant administration, scrutiny of environmental and climate funding, and investigations into Medicare and Medicaid for fraud have been part of DOGE’s agenda.
