A leader from the Hamas terrorists personally thanked the Trudeau Government for their support in calling for a ceasefire.
Senior leader Ghazi Hamad specifically mentioned Canada after Prime Minister Justin Trudeau diverted from the US position and called for a ceasefire — despite the fact that previous ceasefires between the two regions were broken by Hamas.
“We welcome these developments and consider them in the right direction towards isolating the fascist Israeli government globally and ending the long evil occupation in our modern time,” Hamad said in a statement.
The terrorist spokesperson recently said that even with a ceasefire, they would continue to attack Israel.
“We must teach Israel a lesson, and we will do it twice and three times. The Al-Aqsa Deluge [referred to their October 7 attack] is just the first time, and there will be a second, a third, a fourth,” Hamad said.
“Will we have to pay a price? Yes, and we are ready to pay it. We are called a nation of martyrs, and we are proud to sacrifice martyrs.”
Trudeau has received strong criticism for his position in calling for a ceasefire, with some believing he did it to save votes with the growing Muslim-Canadian population, which is desperately needed as he continues to slide in popularity.
Muslim-Canadians outnumber Israeli-Canadians by five-to-one.
Netanyahu lashes out at Trudeau
Last month, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu lashed out directly at Trudeau after the Liberal PM all but called for a ceasefire from Israel.
Netanyahu posted a lengthy message to the Canadian Prime Minister just hours after Trudeau called on the Israeli government to exercise “maximum restraint” amid their counter-attack on Hamas-controlled Gaza.
