Justin Trudeau has been voted as the worst Prime Minister in recent Canadian history by a significant number of Canadians.
The July 4-5 poll was conducted by Research Co., which surveyed 1000 adults across the country and was statistically weighted via census figures for age, gender, and region.
When asked who was the worst PM since 1968, thirty percent of respondents chose Justin Trudeau. The next highest was Stephen Harper, at 18%.
Two out of 10 respondents believe Pierre Trudeau was the best Canadian PM since 1968. Harper received the next amount of support, with 17% choosing him the best.
Last week, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau was booed by a crowd of 5,000 at the Scotiabank Centre in Halifax. Trudeau was speaking at the North American Indigenous Games opening ceremony. Despite his attempt to smile through the booing, footage reveals the boos were fairly loud, causing Trudeau to pause and gather himself before proceeding.
And last year, on the other side of Canada, Trudeau’s trip to Kamloops, BC, ended in disaster, with a crowd of First Nations calling him a “criminal” and telling him to leave immediately.
Later that year, six MEPs and an Irish Senator openly denounced Trudeau during his trip to the EU, labelling him a “dictator”, “disgrace”, and someone who “tramples on democratic rights”.
