Following the revelation that CSIS warned Trudeau of foreign interference in Canadian elections and he did nothing, Liberals have been hard at work painting Pierre Poilievre as Canada’s own Alex Jones.
A post made yesterday on the Liberal Party’s X page states, “Pierre Poilievre is ripping a page out of the far-right American hand book. No wonder conspiracy theorist Alex Jones endorsed him.”
Accompanying the text is a side-by-side video comparing Poilievre with Jones espousing anti-globalist talking points—because apparently, not wanting your government ruled by unelected international bodies is somehow bad and “far right” now.
Moreover, as the public inquiry on foreign interference has shown the Liberals were completely incompetent at all levels in preventing interference from abroad in Canadian elections, a compilation of a politician consistently saying he’ll actually do his job in preventing globalists from influencing the country may just be the best free advertising.
The video takes a particular interest in Poilievre’s promise to ban all politicians in his cabinet from being a part of the World Economic Forum—an organization that previously bragged about “penetrating” Trudeau’s cabinet and installing its members—as if that’s a bad thing.
It isn’t just the people managing the Liberals’ social media spouting off about ‘Alex Jones’ and Poilievre either.
Just a few days ago, when pressed by Poilievre on his refusal to meet with Premiers to discuss the carbon tax, Trudeau became unhinged, lashing out to rant about Alex Jones saying he thinks Poilievre is “the real deal”.
In response to this, Jones tweeted, “Is this the same Trudeau that gave a standing ovation to an actual Nazi war criminal from WW2?” as well as “I love it! The man child who says he admires “China’s basic dictatorship” is attacking me!”
