SHOCKING: Trudeau Minister calls terrorist Taliban regime “our brothers”

On August 25, a member of the Trudeau Cabinet, Minister for Women and Gender Equality Maryam Monsef, deliberately referred to the Taliban as her “brothers,” calling for them to aid Afghans fleeing the country.

The Taliban are currently on the official Canadian list of terrorists.

“I want to take this opportunity to speak to our brothers, the Taliban,” Monsef said. “We call on you to ensure the safe and secure passage of any individual in Afghanistan out of the country.”

The quote comes from a broader talk alongside Defence Minister Harjit Sajjan regarding the current situation in Afghanistan and the impending refugee crisis to follow. Today, Canada confirmed its largest evacuation, bringing 535 people from Kabul to Canada beginning Tuesday.

Monsef, an alleged Afghan refugee herself, says she spoke with a large congregation of Afghans virtually and that it is our duty to make sure Afghans arriving are met with compassion.

She also said that she hopes that Afghans fleeing to Canada are “able to start their new lives in Canada while writing the next chapter of Afghanistan’s story.”

“In the coming days, we will continue to provide updates to [the] Afghan diaspora here in Canada,” Monsef stated. “We’ll need your leadership, your expertise, and your guidance as we move into the second phase of this operation to begin the resettlement of tens of thousands of Afghans who have already made their way out of the country or are about to — to process them and to bring them on to Canadian soil.”

Monsef then called on her terrorist “brothers” to stop their poor treatment of women and the destruction of the previous regime’s culture. However, it is unlikely that the Taliban will honour their sister’s requests.
