NDP claim “trans kids” need access to puberty blockers

New Democrat Party (NDP) members stated on Monday that “trans kids” are one of the most vulnerable groups in Canada and promoted quick access to puberty blockers in the name of “gender affirming care.”

NDP claim “trans kids” need access to puberty blockers

NDP MPs Randall Garrison, Blake Desjarlais and Lisa Marie Barron made the announcement alongside trans activists Fae Johnston and Celeste Trianon.

“We know that some of the most vulnerable in our society are trans kids,” Garrison said, adding that Conservative Premiers are “attacking children’s rights, in particular trans kids’ rights, and we all need to speak out strongly against that.”

The NDP members made the announcement on what’s recently been labeled Trans Day of Remembrance. Garrison said that, over the past year, one transgender individual was murdered in Canada, and 321 worldwide.

A trans-identified male and activist, Celeste Trianon, was also propped up by the NDP, who lamented over the fact that transgender “youth” often have to wait for months or years to receive puberty blockers or surgeries.

Trianon is the director of TransEstrie, a non-profit Transgender advocacy group that’s advertised prosthetic penises for young girls.

Garrison further acknowledged that trans identities became a protected group after the Trudeau Government passed Bill C-16 in 2017 (which effectively criminalized “misgendering”), but said “what we haven’t done is make those rights a reality.”

He also pointed to 29 recommendations he put forth in June that asked for more transgender-related funding, better access to health care for transgender individuals, and allowing trans women to play in female sports leagues, claiming that there’s “no evidence” biological men are better than biological women at sports.

Liberals call Poilievre “American far-right” for criticizing the 81 genders theory

The NDP’s promotion of giving puberty blockers to transgender kids comes after the Conservative leader Pierre Poilievre said at a rally that Prime Minister Justin Trudeau “does not have a right to impose his radical gender ideology on our kids.”

Conservative Party of Canada members recently made changes to their constitution, including one that opposes medical interventions on minors under 18 who suffer from gender dysphoria.

Trans women who take “gender affirming” hormones have 95% increased risk of heart disease, study shows

A recent study has revealed that transgender women (biological males) who take “gender-affirming” hormones face a 95% higher risk of heart disease and other cardiovascular conditions.

Last year, a Canadian doctor spoke out regarding Canada’s uptick in transgender surgeries for youth, suggesting doctors ‘slow down’ surgeries.
