Ending Alberta’s pandemic policy has been a massive success

Don’t let the bought out Liberal media convince you otherwise, Alberta’s freedom-oriented pandemic policies have been a huge success.

While the lockdown-loving NDP and their donors are trying to whip up Albertans using their usual cocktail of fear mongering and paranoia – ICU, hospitalization, and death rates tell a different story.

According to government data, as of July 29, only 19 people are in Intensive Care Units for COVID-19. In comparison, nearly two months earlier on May 18th, 182 people required intensive care.

To put that into perspective, 19 people make up approximately 0.0004% of Alberta’s population.

As for ordinary hospitalizations, only 69 people were in the hospital for COVID-19 as of July 28, which is considerably less than the peak on May 11th when 564 people were in the hospital.

While the Alberta government’s response has been anything but perfect, recent analysis of the death statistics show provinces with strict approaches to lockdown law have fared considerably worse than Alberta.

In Alberta since the beginning of the pandemic, 5.2 people/10,000 died due to COVID-19 infection. In Ontario and Quebec, 6.3 and 13.1/10,000 died respectively.

Despite Quebec’s business closures, vaccine passports, and nightly curfew, they more than doubled the death rate of Alberta.

Thanks to the Alberta government’s internationally recognized restriction removal, Albertans are leading the world.

To date, a majority of Alberta’s population have been fully vaccinated with 65% of people reporting to have received both vaccines. Meanwhile, 75.8% of the population has received at least one shot of a COVID-19 vaccine.

By mid August, Albertans will no longer be required to quarantine with a positive test result, and COVID-19 is being treated just like the regular flu

Alberta’s COVID-19 approach has been so successful even international media is picking up on it.

Earlier this week The Counter Signal was quoted in the Tampa Bay Free Press after publishing that “COVID-19 is officially losing its special status in Alberta, signaling an end to the pandemic in the province. The Chinese Virus will be treated just like the flu and other respiratory diseases in Alberta.”
