QUEBEC: Third dose required for fully vaccinated status

Quebec has become the first province in Canada that will require booster shots as part of its vaccine passport system.

Health Minister Christian Dube made the announcement on Thursday, saying that booster shots will be available for everyone by January 17, not just those 50 and older.

“If the unvaccinated aren’t happy with this situation, there is a very simple solution at your disposal,” Dube said. “It is to get vaccinated. It’s free.”

Dube also says that the province plans to add liquor and cannabis stores to the growing list of businesses required to enforce Quebec’s insanely discriminatory vaccine passport system as part of their plan to pressure the unvaccinated into taking a jab they clearly don’t want.

“By limiting the places [the unvaccinated] can go, we’re limiting their contacts,” he explained.

“If you don’t want to get vaccinated, stay home.”

Dube has yet to say when booster shots will be required for citizens who want to retain their fully vaccinated status. However, the ban on the unvaccinated from entering liquor and cannabis stores will be brought in on January 18.

Of course, there is little evidence to suggest that additional doses of the COVID vaccine will end the pandemic, as, in Ontario, a disproportionate number of COVID cases are coming from the vaccinated population.

As CP24 wrote yesterday, “Ontario labs confirmed 13,339 new cases of the virus today but with limited test capacity being reserved exclusively for select groups… The new cases today involve 1,797 who are unvaccinated, 452 who are partially immunized, 10,648 fully vaccinated Ontarians, and 442 with an unknown vaccination status.”

That’s 11,100 fully or partially vaccinated to 1,797 unvaccinated cases.

According to the COVID-19 Tracker Canada, 82.818 per cent of all people in Ontario have received at least one dose, and 77.256 per cent of all people in Ontario are fully vaccinated; thus, 17.182 per cent remain unvaccinated in the province at the time of writing.

Thus, if there were a proportionate number of vaccinated cases, we would see 8,661 infected. Instead, we see more than 2,500 additional cases. If this is a pandemic, then truly it’s a pandemic of the vaccinated.

Moreover, on top of Quebec’s insane vaccine passport policy, the Premier has, once again, implemented an 8 p.m. curfew and has police patrolling the streets to arrest and fine anyone they catch.

All of this, and apparently, the province is in worse shape than ever before.

Clearly, none of the restrictions or vaccine requirements are working, but that isn’t stopping Legault.
