“No exemptions,” BC government says of incoming vaccine passport system

John Horgan’s NDP will be the next provincial government to force Canadians onto a draconian vaccine passport system.

Taking cues from Quebec, unvaccinated Canadians in BC will soon be barred from attending “non-essential” services like restaurants, sporting events and even weddings.

What’s worse is that BC’s policy is so extreme that even those with legitimate medical conditions or those with religious reasons to not get vaccinated will not be exempt from having to provide proof of vaccination.

That’s right. There will be absolutely no exemptions to BC’s vaccine passport system. If you don’t believe me, hear it right from BC’s Chief Public Health Officer, Bonnie Henry’s own mouth.

“Those rare people who have a medical reason why they can’t be immunized … they will not be able to attend those events during this period,” Henry said.

“This is a temporary measure that’s getting us through a risky period where we know people who are unvaccinated are at a greater risk, both of contracting and spreading this virus.”

The vaccine passport system will stay in place until January 31, 2022. Canadians will be required to be vaccinated by September 13, 2021 otherwise they will be denied access to non-essential services.

Provincial governments are pushing vaccine passports on Canadians despite the fact that there is no evidence to support the fact that they actually work in reducing COVID-19 rates.

Even the Ontario Science Table admitted so in a recent report

“There is currently no scientific evidence of the direct impact of COVID-19 vaccine certificates on SARS-CoV-2 transmission or population vaccination rates,” the Science Table wrote.
