During a speech, Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre asked Justin Trudeau to stop destroying Canada before he’s removed from office in the next election.

Pierre Poilievre begs Trudeau to stop destroying Canada before the next election

“There’s still another year and a half where Canadians have to find a way to survive,” Poilievre said. “So my message to Justin Trudeau is this: in one word, stop.

“Stop doubling housing costs. Stop taxing our farmers and food when our single moms and seniors are going hungry. Stop the inflationary deficits that are driving up interest rates and forcing Canadians to lose their homes. Stop endangering our social programs and jobs by adding more and more debt.

“For the love of God, Justin Trudeau, you are not worth the cost.”

Poilievre also pointed out a number of telling phenomena around the country that are really emblematic of the situation of Canadians, like a Facebook group for dumpster diving that discusses how to safely eat of dumpsters so you don’t starve to death and dozens of dead bodies being left out by trash bins in Newfoundland because people can’t afford burials anymore.

“It’s true that you can’t afford to live after eight years of Trudeau and the NDP, but you know what? You can’t afford to die, either. In Newfoundland, there are 28 dead bodies in freezers outside of a hospital next to a dumpster because their families cannot afford a burial or cremation,” Poilievre said.

“This would have been unimaginable before Trudeau and his NDP government took office.”

Unfortunately, despite the current state of Canada and the attempts of Poilievre and the Conservatives to spark an election via a non-confidence motion, the next Canadian election will not be held until at least October 2025.
