In a comical turn of events, a petition launched last Tuesday demands Prime Minister Justin Trudeau deny Tucker Carlson entry in Canada.
The latest hissy fit comes after news broke earlier this week that Carlson would have a sit down interview with Premier Danielle Smith in Calgary Alberta early next year.
In response, seething leftists launched a petition demanding that Trudeau deny Carlson a visa.
In what seems more like a manifesto than a petition, the author of the petition, Eugene Blanchard, states why Carlson must be punished.
Using typical buzzwords, the petition argues that Carlson’s heinousness partially stems from his skepticism into the war in Ukraine, reading, “He said Vladimir Putin wasn’t so bad.”
The author includes many of the common leftist talking points, including bringing up Carlson’s view on abortion, saying, “He said the desire to procreate has been ‘subverted’ by birth control and abortion.”
“He complained about, ‘the total collapse of testosterone levels in American men.’”, the author continued.
“…He said white supremacy is not a real problem.”
“…He said the January 6 rioters were ‘peaceful protesters.’”
“…He knowingly lied that the 2020 election was stolen.”
“…He called for an insurrection after Trump was indicted.”
“…He called Trump ‘sensible and wise.’”
“…He minimized the severity of statutory rape and said women are ‘primitive.’”
Despite the lack of supporting facts, comments from signees accuse Carlson for Nazism, white supremacy, and anti-semitism.
Officially launching on November 7th, the petition has received a flop of approximately 2,200 signatures at the time of publication.
The Counter Signal reported on a similar situation in which Alberta’s NDP lashed out last Tuesday when the tickets for the event were first announced.
Tucker Carlson’s live show with Danielle Smith sold out within 48 hours of the announcement.
