A planetary alignment, often referred to as a “planet parade,” will light up the night sky during the week of January 20th.

Six planets align for Trump inauguration week, only happens once in a lifetime

Notably, this rare cosmic event coincides with Donald Trump’s inauguration week. As the 47th President of the United States takes office, the skies will be illuminated by a planetary alignment that hasn’t been seen in many decades, making it a truly historic earthly and celestial week.

The six planet alignment will start January 25 and continue into February. While two or three planets aligning is fairly common, alignments involving five or more planets are far less frequent and can take decades or even centuries to repeat under similar conditions.

The celestial display of aligned planets will be an event that stargazers won’t want to miss.

Six planets—Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune—will align in a row across the sky. Four of these, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn, will be visible to the naked eye, making it an accessible spectacle for observers.

For those with telescopes, Neptune and Uranus will also come into view, completing the lineup.

The Moon will also join the celestial lineup, making it a seven-body display. This astronomical sight will stretch across the night sky, offering a most remarkable planetary view during a historic week for the US as Trump begins his Presidency.
