After releasing a photo of herself receiving her latest vaccines, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance Chrystia Freeland’s post saw a flood of comments calling her out for peddling an endless regime of booster shots.

Freeland posted an image of herself on the evening of December 18th receiving her latest flu shot and COVID booster.
“I got my flu shot and COVID booster today!” wrote Freeland.
“Find out where you can get your shots to help keep your family safe this holiday season,” she added, providing a link to the Government of Canada’s vaccine page.
However, her post was immediately ratio’d – amassing a wave of negative comments with far fewer “likes.”
At the time of publishing, Freeland’s post on X received about 4,800 comments and 2,300 likes.

According to a recent Nanos poll, 18% of respondents found Freeland to be the most “politically appealing” as a potential candidate for leadership of the Liberal party.
