Robert F. Kennedy Jr. was caught slipping a Zyn nicotine pouch into his mouth in the middle of his Senate confirmation hearing.

Stressed RFK Jr pops a Zyn nicotine pouch while democrats go after him

With a quick swipe of his left hand over his mouth, he managed to discreetly place a pouch in while continuing to take questions from Senators.

Social media users quickly took notice, spreading clips of the moment online.

This isn’t the first time RFK Jr. has lightened the load with a Zyn product. In October of last year he was spotted in LA walking out of a corner store with a tin of Zyn.

During his first day of the confirmation hearing on Wednesday, RFK Jr. spoke about his past as a heroin addict for 14 years, along with other habits he was working on, including transitioning from cigarettes to nicotine pouches.

RFK Jr explained his desire to address addiction and mental health, as future HHS Secretary.

The American Food and Drug Administration (FDA) recently authorized Zyn nicotine pouch products currently marketed by Swedish Match, a tobacco company.

The successful appointment of RFK Jr, could potentially signal a shift in US Health policy towards tobacco product alternatives, including nicotine pouches.
