Study shows most “trans kids” are just confused, almost all grow out of it

A massive study spanning 15 years of 2,772 children reveals that most so-called “trans kids” eventually outgrow their gender dysphoria.

Study shows most “trans kids” are just confused, almost all grow out of it

In other words, they weren’t transgender at all.

The groundbreaking study comes from the University of Groningen in the Netherlands, and challenges the prevailing sentiments from many left-wing politicians who eagerly “affirm” any child’s self-stated gender identity.

The study, which began when participants were just 11 years old, found that while 11% reported gender non-contentedness in early adolescence, this figure decreased to a mere 4% by age 26.

As per the authors: “We found that gender non-contentedness is most common around the age of 11 and that the prevalence decreases with age.”

They added: “Moreover, we identified three different developmental trajectory types of gender (non-) contentedness throughout adolescence and early adulthood: (1) the majority (78% of the sample) consistently indicated to never experience any gender non-contentedness, (2) a group reporting gender non-contentedness in early adolescence, but not any longer in adulthood (19% of the sample), and (3) a small group (2% of the sample) showing the opposite pattern of increasingly reporting gender non-contentedness with age.”

The authors further note there’s been a “large increase” in referral rates to gender clinics in the last ten years in western countries, but admits they don’t know why, speculating that “improved public awareness” may play a role.

The researchers also found that gender dysphoria in adolescence is often linked to broader mental health and self-esteem issues.

UK bans medical interventions on “trans” minors

The revelation comes just after the UK announced they’re banning medical interventions for minors, saying they are experimental and require more long-term data.

It also comes on the heels of explosive leaked files indicating that members of the World Professional Association for Transgender Health (WPATH) often engage in improvised treatments without meeting the rigorous standards expected in medical care.

Highlighting the risks associated with premature medical intervention, leaked documents from the World Professional Association for Transgender Health have revealed a troubling trend among some practitioners.

Some doctors fail to adequately inform young patients about the lifelong consequences of procedures like hormone blockers and surgery.

Smith ahead of the rest

Earlier this year, Alberta Premier Danielle Smith said that children do not have the capacity to make life-altering healthcare decisions and banned doctors from giving hormone therapy or puberty blockers to minors under 16.

Smith’s policies, while degraded as being “hateful” and “dangerous,” are actually supported by more Albertans than those who oppose them.

Moreover, a recent study suggests that giving puberty blockers to kids who say they are trans may lower their IQ, along with several other negative effects — including making them sterile.
