The Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) state-operated newspaper Global Times warned Twitter CEO Elon Musk not to bite the hand that feeds him after he linked the Wuhan Flu to the Wuhan lab.
Musk had replied to a tweet about Anthony Fauci’s complicity in US-funded gain-of-function research.
In his reply, Musk’s response also seemed to affirm recent reports that said the Wuhan Flu did indeed start in the Wuhan lab after all.
Subsequently, the CCP issued a warning shot to Musk from its state newspaper, as reported by Eunice Yoon from CNBC.
“Musk, are you breaking the pot of China?” the article’s headline read from the Global Times, which is the English version of the CCP’s People’s Daily.
The Chinese phrase “breaking the pot after eating” is similar to the expression “biting the hand that feeds you.”
Musk has expanded Tesla’s investments in China in recent years and praised the country for its technological competitiveness.
The Chinese state broadcaster also condemned the US Energy Department’s recent report that said COVID’s origins “likely” came from the Wuhan lab.
“Elon Musk, the boss of Tesla, a well-known American electric car brand and now the owner of the ‘Twitter’ platform, not only forwarded this conspiracy theory against China, but also commented that ‘Fauci conducted this matter through the intermediary organization of the ‘Ecological Health Alliance,’” the state broadcaster said.
Musk has indicated that more Twitter Files will be released on Anthony Fauci and COVID.
Last year, Musk tweeted that his pronouns were “prosecute/Fauci.”
Fauci has denied virtually all accusations and questions about funding gain-of-function research, and in 2021 said that “the science” strongly suggested that COVID did not originate in a lab.
In 2021, Fauci also infamously said that doubting him was the same as doubting science.
