Hundreds of Hamilton protestors found the Trudeau Liberals’ dining location on Tuesday night and made sure their smug Prime Minister could hear them.
Trudeau is in Hamilton on a three day Liberal caucus retreat. Protestors found his dining location at Bread Bar restaurant on James St. North.
Protestors surrounded both the front and back entrance of the restaurant while the Liberal MPs dined with their boss.
After a couple hours of waiting, police created a decoy for the Prime Minister to escape, creating the impression Trudeau was leaving through the back of the restaurant.
Shortly after Trudeau left the front entrance while protected by at least a dozen armed officers. He entered the Jackson Square mall east side entrance, which was just across the street. Trudeau was able to access his hotel through the mall.
Subsequently, the rest of Trudeau’s cabinet left the restaurant.
Earlier in the day, The Counter Signal interviewed protestors who were outside of his hotel.
One protestor called Trudeau a tyrant and said Canadians have seen enough.
“He’s just out of control,” she said.
Another protestor said “He’s been in power now for 8 years and I don’t want him to have a fourth term.”
A third protestor spoke to the amount of corruption taking place among the Liberals in general. Last week, yet another Liberal MP was implicated in an ethics scandal.
And it’s not just Trudeau that some voiced their displeasure about, but also Finance Minister Chrystia Freeland, who just returned from the WEF summit in Davos, where she serves as a board member.
“I think she’s just as bad,” a young woman said.
On Monday, a massive freedom convoy donned with Canada flags slow-rolled through Hamilton, the first of three nights Prime Minister Trudeau will be staying in the steel city.
