A viral video on social media shows a crowd of Canadians in Windsor letting Prime Minister Justin Trudeau know what they think of him, as his motorcade slowly drives by.
In the video, Trudeau’s motorcade can be seen driving through a crowd of people protesting his appearance in their city. Half a dozen “F*CK Trudeau” flags are seen being waved by members of the crowd.
“Last night, Trudeau’s motorcade was met by a wall of angry protesters in Windsor, Ontario,” tweeted The Counter Signal’s founder Keean Bexte.
“Locals calling on the beleaguered Prime Minister to resign.”
The video is short, but the crowd’s sentiment was concise.
A driver in the video who wasn’t part of the motorcade can be heard honking his horn. The crowd was chanting “F Trudeau” as the motorcade made its way through them.
Last summer, while in Sudbury, Trudeau was also met by angry Canadians, this time getting called a “Communist pig” who should “go back to China.”
Despite his best attempts to have a controlled public appearance, Canadians spotted him walking on a path below them and took the opportunity to chastise him.
And during last year’s Calgary Stampede, Trudeau met a similar fate. Despite releasing his itinerary at the last minute, his detractors managed to show up and hurl insults at the bumbling Prime Minister.
At a pancake breakfast event with everyone’s favourite porch pirate, George Chahal, Trudeau was recorded attempting to give a speech while attendees called him a “traitor.”
Later in the day, apparently not wanting to take the risk of more outbursts, Trudeau headed to the Calgary Stampede’s stadium for a controlled photo-op.
In the photos, Trudeau talks to a handful of Liberal supporters while the stadium can be seen empty in the background.
