On Monday, Fox News personality Tucker Carlson bit into US President Joe Biden’s handling of the Ukraine crisis and his government’s “trans evangelism” foreign policy.

In an episode of Tucker Carlson Tonight, the show’s namesake accused the Democratic president of pursuing “trans evangelism,” highlighting the US government’s obsession with spreading woke ideology worldwide. 

“Fight to the death to defend what you love. That’s the American position. That’s why we call it the Defense Department, not the Department of Nation Building or the Bureau of Trans Evangelism,” said Carlson.

It was recently revealed that while the Russian invasion of Ukraine continued, the US Army was training its soldiers on transgenderism and how to use pronouns properly. 

According to an official presentation entitled “Policy on Military Service of Transgender Persons and Persons with Gender Dysphoria,” the mandatory training was first given to officers in February. 

“Gender transition in the Army begins when a soldier receives a diagnosis from a military medical provider indicating that gender transition is medically necessary,” the presentation stated. 

The training included references to concepts such as “assigned sex” and gender fluidity. A recent US policy change now allows transgender individuals to serve openly in the country’s military. 

In his segment, Carlson also targeted Republicans for seeking to plunge the country into war with Russia over the Ukraine crisis. 

“Republicans in Washington, to their eternal shame, have no problem with any of this. In fact, many of them are more for war with Russia than Joe Biden, it seems. That is a disgrace. It will hurt them in the midterms, and it will hurt them on a deeper level because it does not serve the interest of this country.” 

The change, part of a pilot project that will likely be expanded to include other school boards if successfully implemented, is set to come into effect on March 15.
