Australia has increased its vaccine injury claims budget from less than $1 million last year to over $77 million this year.
Frank Chung of Australia’s News.com reported that the 2022-2023 budget for COVID vaccine injuries increased by 700%.
The government is evidently adjusting to an increased number of COVID-19 vaccine injuries.
News.com also reported the government admitted it didn’t know about the risks the vaccines posed until five months after they approved them. This new budget indicates the government is at least trying to compensate for its hasty declarations about the safety of the vaccines.
Those injured by the COVID vaccine are eligible for compensation based on the severity of their injury, as ranked by tiers.
“Tier 1 covers low level claims under $20,000; Tier 2 covers claims above $20,000; and Tier 3 covers claims in relation to harm that caused, or materially contributed to, the death of a COVID-19 Vaccine Recipient,” reads the vaccine claims scheme.
“The Scheme has been established to support people who suffer a moderate to significant injury following administration of an approved COVID-19 vaccine.”
The wins are trending towards unvaccinated individuals as well. On Monday, the New York Supreme Court handed down a landmark decision, forcing the city to rehire unvaccinated workers and give them back pay.
In Canada, vaccine-injured individuals are largely ignored. Recently, some vaccine-injured Canadians joined in on the viral #trudeaumustgo Twitter trend. Twitter users expressed their disgust at the coercion that effectively forced their decisions to get vaccinated, only to be injured.
Earlier this month, Pfizer admitted it never tested for transmission before their COVID-19 vaccines went to market.
