FREE DRUGS: Vancouver councillor hands out hard drugs while police watch on

Progressive councilors like Vancouver’s Jean Swanson seem to think the best way to help drug addicts is to give them free laboratory-grade heroin and meth

In July, Swanson and several other pro-drug groups decided to deal free cocaine, meth and heroin to addicts outside of a Vancouver Police Department building, helping to perpetuate the cycle of drug abuse.

While thousands of people get sent to jail every year for simple drug possession and more serious crimes like drug trafficking, police have not arrested any of those involved.

“I got to hand out safe drugs today with VANDU And DULF. 6 deaths a day from poison drugs is way too many.  1 is too many. Safe supply now !!” tweeted Swanson on July 14.

Protected by the veneer of social justice, the dealers were able to give away $3,000 worth of narcotics in 3.5-gram packages without a hitch.

According to organizers, the pure drugs were obtained from black markets on the dark web using cryptocurrency.

Swanson was joined by the “Drug User Liberation Front” and the “Vancouver Area Network of Drug Users.”

Activists claimed the stunt was supposed to highlight Vancouver’s “deeply flawed” plan to decriminalize drugs.

Unfortunately, the Liberal government is more than happy to get into the drug-dealing business.

A year prior, Vancouver Mayor Kennedy Stewart demanded that Prime Minister Justin Trudeau allow his city and others to decriminalize possession of hard drugs.

In Toronto, the Liberals have already funded several government programs where drug addicts are able to get medical-grade injectable opioids.
