The BC NDP have voted against a motion meant to keep biological men out of women’s sports.
Speaking in the legislative Assembly on Tuesday, leader of the opposition Conservatives, John Rustad, read a motion titled Fairness in Women’s and Girls’ Sports Act, which the governing NDP ended up voting down.
“The bill was written by women and girls for women and girls,” Rustad said.
“This bill provides that sports and athletic teams, events and tournaments that are publicly funded must be classified by sex and limits participation to participants of the biological sex that corresponds to the sex classification.”
Rustad also said the bill would “maintain opportunities” for female athletes to fairly compete against each other and get awarded university scholarships.
“…Separate from their male counterparts is just common sense,” he continued. “There are inherent differences between males and females, ranging from chromosomal and hormonal differences to physiological differences.”
Despite the motion getting defeated, it serves as a campaign note to citizens in BC looking to restore common sense and stop the trans insanity.
A surge of support for the BC Conservatives has taken place in recent months, with the most recent projections showing they are neck and neck, if not slight ahead of the governing NDP party.
