BREAKING: Fauci behind 2020 ‘study’ designed to dismiss Wuhan lab leak theory

Dr. Anthony Fauci commissioned or prompted the 2020 scientific “study” that was used to disprove the Wuhan Flu lab leak theory.

BREAKING: Fauci behind 2020 ‘study’ designed to dismiss Wuhan lab leak theory

Emails obtained by House Republicans show that Dr. Fuaci “prompted” the study and that the study was intended to disprove the theory from the get-go rather than investigate it.

“New evidence released by the Select Subcommittee today suggests that Dr. Fauci ‘prompted’ the drafting of a publication that would ‘disprove’ the lab leak theory,” subcommittee members said in a memo.

“The authors of this paper skewed available evidence to achieve that goal, and Dr. Jeremy Farrar went uncredited despite significant involvement.”

Dr. Farrar is the World Health Organization’s (WHO) Chief Scientist, whose authorship was left off the paper.

The Republicans’ memo also says that Fauci met with twelve scientists on February 1 2020, in the early days of the pandemic when speculation was running wild about the virus’s origins. During this call, Fauci and Dr. Francis Collins were warned about the possibility that the virus may have leaked from the Wuhan lab and that China may have intentionally manipulated the virus.

“Only three days later, on February 4, 2020, four participants of the conference call authored a paper entitled ‘The Proximal Origin of SARS-CoV-2’ (Proximal Origin) and sent a draft to Drs. Fauci and Collins. Prior to final publication in Nature Medicine, the paper was sent to Dr. Fauci for editing and approval,” the memo reads.

Emails uncovered reveal that one of the study’s authors said that the goal of the authors was focused on “trying to disprove any type of lab theory…”

Furthermore, scientists’ private conversations contradict what they said publicly. For example, authors indicated that the bat and pangolin sequences of the Coronavirus “do not elucidate the origin of SARS-CoV-2 or refute a lab origin.”

However, the same scientists made public statements in 2021 expressing the opposite conclusion, when saying the evidence suggested COVID evolved naturally.

As reported in the New York Post, eight weeks after Fauci commissioned the paper, he cited it during a White House briefing but pretended he didn’t know much about it.

“There was a study recently,” he said on April 17, 2020.

“Where a group of highly qualified evolutionary virologists looked at the sequences … in bats as they evolve and the mutations that it took to get to the point where it is now is totally consistent with a jump of a species from an animal to a human,” he said.

“So, the paper will be available. I don’t have the authors right now, but we can make it available to you.”

Last week, Senator Ted Cruz said Dr. Anthony Fauci should be arrested and thrown in jail for lying to congress under oath.
