The Calgary Stampede has been off to a strong start, with impressive attendance numbers that are on track to potentially surpass last year’s total of 1,384,632 visitors. 

Calgary Stampede’s final stretch could break attendance record  

As of Sunday, July 8, the Stampede had already welcomed 538, 807 attendees. The Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth ends this Sunday, July 14.

The opening day saw over 161,000 visitors flood Stampede Park, nearly matching the record set in 2023. The Stampede Parade also set a new record with over 350,000 people in attendance.

Visitors can still choose from a number of events:

Daily Events:

  • Rodeo: Takes place daily at 1:30 PM, featuring world-class competitors in the largest outdoor rodeo.
  • Evening Show: Nightly at 7:45 PM, offering a double-header entertainment experience.

Special Attractions:

  • Motocross athletes 
  • Dog show 
  • A Disney animation
  • Le Cirque de la Nuit’s STARSLINGERS

Music Performances:

  • July 11: Motley Crue concert at the Scotiabank Saddledome.
  • July 12: Miranda Lambert headlines.
  • July 13: Jonas Brothers perform.
  • July 14: Nickelback closes out the Stampede with special guests The Glorious Sons
