NEW: Fauci admits lockdowns are designed to coerce people

During a discussion on MSNBC, Anthony Fauci admitted that lockdowns are designed and implemented specifically to coerce people into getting vaccinated.

“While China has a number of problems, two of which are — that their complete lockdown, which was their approach — a strictest lockdown that you’d never be able to implement in the United States — although that prevents the spread of infection — and remember, early on, they were saying, and I think accurately, that they were doing better than almost anyone else — but lockdown has its consequences.”

You use lockdowns to get people vaccinated,” Fauci continues [Emphasis added], “so that when you open up, you won’t have a surge of infections because you’re dealing with an immunologically naïve population to the virus because they’ve not really been exposed because of the lockdown.”

Fauci isn’t the only one to admit that lockdowns and restrictions, such as vaccine mandates and passports, are primarily designed to coerce people into taking the vaccine, either, rather than for health and safety.

Alberta’s Chief Medical Officer, Deena Hinshaw, also admitted that restrictions imposed during lockdowns, specifically, the restriction exemption program [Alberta’s vaccine passport system], were also intended to increase vaccine acceptance.

“… the restriction exemption program which did two things: first of all, it provided additional incentive for people who may have been willing to get vaccinated but just haven’t gotten around to it yet to go and access the protection that vaccines offer so that increases that vaccination coverage and it also creates opportunity so that those spaces covered by proof of vaccination for participating venues, that those spaces now have the people — in-person — who are much more likely to be protected.” [Emphasis added]

Fauci is, of course, far more explicit.

In Canada, many in the mainstream media and government are running round the clock fear propaganda to alert people to a “sixth wave” of COVID that potentially justifies a return of restrictions — even though some remain in place, and it’s only been a month since masks mandates were ended. However, if lockdowns and mandates aren’t actually about health, they’re just tools of coercion, then there is no justification.
