The New Democratic Party’s (NDP) ethics critic, of all people, has praised the far-left group known as Antifa — the radicals who hide in black hoodies and masks, violently assault people they disagree with, and call for abolishing police and prisons.
During the NDP’s three-day convention in Hamilton, MP Matthew Green slammed the Trudeau Liberals and Poilievre Conservatives as a “faux choice between Coke and Pepsi” and said, “no matter who wins and who loses, Bay Street continues to win, that those dividends cheques and those profits continue to go out.”
Green claimed that only the NDP and its Antifa allies are standing in the way of Trudeau and Poilievre (even though NDP leader Jagmeet Singh has actually gained the reputation of being Trudeau’s enabler).
“This is a multi-movement coalition of people across the country that are inside the party and outside of the party,” Green said, seething with anger. “And I would say this, I want to take this quick moment tonight and just acknowledge the work of the activist communities, the work of the antifascists who are on the front lines against hate, day in and day out against the violence that they are unleashing in our communities.”
Antifa adherents have been motivated by philosophies such as communism and anarchism.
Green is also an open supporter of ethnic discrimination.
In August, Green issued his full support for discrediting White or light-skinned individuals on account of their skin tone through “anti-racism” training sessions — something he claims is necessary to fight anti-black racism.
NDP goes full Marxist
The NDP went full Marxist at its three day convention in Hamilton by telling attendees who wished to participate in debates to line up according to their gender and ethnicity.
“Please remember to give space to those who face systemic barriers and discrimination including women, black, indigenous, and racialized folk in particular, people living with disability, and 2SLGBTQIA+ folk.”
The NDP even assigned yellow cards to everyone who wasn’t White or male so that they could hold them up while in line and gain access to the front of the line.
A recent polling update by 338Canada indicates the NDP would win somewhere between 12 and 35 seats in Parliament if an election were to be held today, which would give them fewer seats than the Bloc Québécois, which is projected to win between 26 and 38 seats.
Nationwide issue
Rachel Notley’s NDP claims to be a moderate and pragmatic alternative to the United Conservative Party, but a number of its candidates are communist sympathizers.
At least five NDP candidates have openly bragged about their communist views, with one candidate even leading a Communist Party march.
