New data shows that over 99 per cent of the population aged 16 or older in the UK and over 95 per cent of those aged 12 to 15 in Great Britain are estimated to be positive for COVID-19 antibodies, despite only 85 per cent of those over 12 having received two doses of the COVID vaccine.
The data regarding antibodies come from the Office for National Statistics, the UK’s largest independent producer of statistics and the recognized national statistical institute for the country.
As per a report published by the ONS, beginning on the week of May 9, 99.4 per cent of adults in England, 99.3 per cent of adults in Wales, 99.3 per cent of adults in Northern Ireland, and 99.4 per cent of adults in Scotland were estimated to have COVID antibodies above the level of 179 nanograms per millilitre.
Similarly, in Great Britain, 95.5% of children aged 12 to 15 years and 94.6% of children aged 8 to 11 years tested positive for COVID antibodies. The report did not include those under these age groups or those aged 8 to 15 in Northern Ireland.
At the same time, according to a report from the BBC, only 85 per cent of those over 12 have received two doses of the COVID vaccine and are considered fully vaccinated.
This is significant as it suggests that despite not getting the vaccine, nearly the entire unvaccinated population has developed COVID antibodies and is protected from COVID-19, meaning that herd immunity could have been achieved without any of the lockdowns, mandates, or discrimination.
Moreover, as previously reported by The Counter Signal, those who have received the vaccine (at least the Moderna vaccine) are missing critical antibodies crucial to preventing reinfection, unlike those with natural immunity.
As per a study from Yale’s medRxiv, Researchers analyzing the vaccine efficacy of Moderna looked at 1,789 participants (1,298 placebo recipients and 491 vaccine recipients) that were 18 years old or older with no known history of SARS-CoV-2 infection and were at appreciable risk of SARS-CoV-2 infection and/or high risk of severe Covid-19. They ultimately found that those not inoculated with Moderna had more antibodies after being infected than those who received the vaccine.
“Among participants in the mRNA-1273 vaccine efficacy trial with PCR-confirmed Covid-19, anti-nucleocapsid antibody seroconversion at the time of study unblinding (median 53 days post-diagnosis and 149 days post-enrollment) occurred in 40% of the mRNA-1273 vaccine recipients vs. 93% of the placebo recipients, a significant difference,” the researchers conclude.
According to Children’s Health Defense, “Anti-nucleocapsid antibodies are antibodies specific to the nucleocapsid portion of the SARS-CoV-2 virus, the virus responsible for COVID-19.”
They further report that the findings suggest that those who received the Moderna vaccine are more likely to be reinfected, perhaps “indefinitely.”
“The authors’ findings, which are corroborated by UK data that demonstrate the rates of infection are significantly higher in the vaccinated, suggest Moderna knew of this safety signal in 2020 when the vaccine maker was conducting its trials,” writes Children’s Health Defense.
“…. Specifically, the study implies that the reduced ability of a vaccinated individual to produce antibodies to other portions of the virus may lead to a greater risk of future infections in the vaccinated compared to the unvaccinated.”
Put simply, not only does natural immunity exist and can lead to herd immunity, but those who’ve acquired such immunity are less likely to get COVID again and reinfect the vulnerable vaccinated population.
