The COVID-19 vaccine could destroy natural immunity, a new study suggests.
The study reveals that vaccinated children who’ve recovered from a COVID infection have 0% immunity after six months, unlike unvaccinated children who still have 50% protection from naturally acquired immunity.
The study was published in the New England Journal of Medicine (NEJM). Researchers Dr. Lin (et al.) looked at 887,193 children aged 5 to 11 in North Carolina “over a 6 month period when the omicron variant was dominant.”
The study examines vaccinated and unvaccinated children, comparing each group’s immunity levels.
Vaccinated children lost all immunity after 5-6 months (Graphs A, B, and D). Vaccinated children refer to those infected with COVID before getting the vaccine and after (Graph B).
The unvaccinated maintained over 50% immunity (Graph C) six months after COVID infection. In addition, they maintained more than 45% immunity 15 months after infection by earlier variants of COVID.
The data suggest vaccination destroys natural immunity provided to unvaccinated children. Other studies indicate vaccines hurt the immune system. In an April study, mRNA researchers concluded that vaccine recipients might have a harder time than the unvaccinated in fighting future infections.
Quadruple vaccinated US President Joe Biden has caught COVID multiple times. Pfizer CEO Albert Bourla caught COVID last month despite receiving four of his company’s vaccines.
Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau was infected with COVID twice over six months, between January and June 2022. Both infections came after his third vaccination in early January.
Dr. Lin’s study takes the immunity concern one step further. Immunity for vaccinated children isn’t just 0% after six months, but it goes into negative efficacy territory (Graph A, B).
Once experts conceded that vaccines are leaky, they assured people that ‘hybrid immunity’ (vaccine + infection) is better than natural immunity alone, but this data suggests the opposite.
The Counter Signal reported on other studies that suggest hybrid immunity is no better than natural immunity and that natural immunity is better than immunity provided by vaccination.
In an email to The Counter Signal, Dr. Lin said the data includes modelling estimations and should be taken with a grain of salt.
Dr. Lin also highlighted the benefits of vaccination, saying seven unvaccinated children died from a COVID infection out of 614,036 kids, while zero vaccinated children out of 273,157 died. The children received between 1-3 vaccines.
It’s not clear if these seven unvaccinated children who died had underlying conditions.
