Trudeau and family caught bare-faced on RCAF flight

Masks for thee but not for me

Justin Trudeau and his family have been spotted coming off the airplane in Costa Rica entirely bare-faced, even though Canadians continue to suffer the humiliation of forced masking on planes.

In a video, Trudeau and co. can be seen coming off the plane happy, relaxed, and entirely bare-faced, as do staff and those who came to greet the PM.

This, of course, wouldn’t be a problem under normal circumstances. It is, however, a huge problem considering the Trudeau government’s mask mandate for planes remains.

While vaccination requirements have been temporarily suspended in Canada, the mask mandate isn’t going anywhere. The fed isn’t even considering dropping it, despite all supposed ‘science’ pointing towards a lack of efficacy for masks in preventing the spread of COVID and the recent revelation that the Liberal government never based its decisions on science.

According to Transport Canada, “Starting June 20, 2022, at 12:01 a.m. (EDT), vaccination will no longer be required to board a plane or train in Canada. You still must wear a mask throughout your journey.”

Trudeau clearly thinks he’s above this law.

As anyone who’s recently travelled knows, it’s a bizarre feeling being a Canadian and landing in a country that’s moved past mask mandates.

It might be the peculiarity of the situation or outright pity, but the faces of those watching Canadians as they de-board are telling. It’s ass-backwards to have to wear a mask anywhere, let alone for a 4-plus-hour flight.

And Canada’s PM undoubtedly knows this but doesn’t care. Why would he? He clearly doesn’t plan on masking, and no one can make him, so it’s no skin off his back.
